Note: Alexander Nikolaevich Benois was a Russian artist and writer, painter, graphic artist, set designer, art historian, art critic, and memoirist. The most famous representative of the Benois artistic dynasty, one of the main figures of the Silver Age; co-founder along with S. P. Diaghilev, and the main ideologist of the World of Art association.
