School of Pavel Filonov, possibly Vsevolod Angelovich Sulimo-Samuilo (1903-1965), a watercolor, colored pencil and graphite on paper drawing depicting a man on the backdrop of a cityscape with trees and a church. Stamped lower right "Central Statistical".

Pavel Filonov (1883-1941) was a Russian and Soviet painter, illustrator and poet. He was also an avant-garde art theorist.
