This is Ottoman ‘kilij’ sword’s blade is undecorated but has an interesting, rounded spine for most of its length with the last 6 3/4 in. of the spine having diamond-shaped beveling. The grip scales are of simple wooden construction. Between the grip scales is a thin sheet of brass running from front to back, with simple geometric decoration along its length.
L: 36.5 in. (92.71 cm.);
Condition: The blade is lightly pitted.
