Лот 247:
A Turkish flintlock pistol of the early 19th century with a variety of decorative elements. The handle is set with a lighter colored brass-alloy medallion and bears a rounded brass pommel ending in a silver pommel cap which depicts a stylized face. The wood stock is faintly carved throughout, with filigree designs around the breech and checkering between the barrel band and the lock.
The hammer and the lockplate are engraved with filigree work and what appears to be a small inscription. The reverse of the lockplate has some remnants of its original silver damascene. The barrel of the gun also bears an inscription, and is held to the stock by a large, embossed silver barrel band.
