Лот 275:
This is a Spanish flintlock pistol of the mid to late 18th century with a well-made cannon style barrel with an octagonal breech section, cylindrical main barrel, and a flared muzzle. The lock mechanism is of a typical miquelet style and is engraved on the hammer and lock-plate, the center of the plate having what may be lettering near to the center. The wood stock has a diamond shaped section on the backstrap which has been checkered for better grip and decoration. The pommel is capped with steel affixed to the stock by a screw in its center.
Bore Diameter: 15 mm
L: 13 in. (33 cm.)
Condition: Good overall. Lock mechanism is functional. Barrel patinated with some pitting, all consistent with age. Wood in very good condition with some minor scratches and dents in some places. Trigger guard tang is ever so slightly loose.
