AUCTION 45: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 112:
A full set of Indian Char-Aina "mirror" armor, including the helmet and two bazubands. The armor is in excellent condition, with only very minor wear, and is beautifully decorated with vines made of silver inlay. The whole set is lined with burgundy fabric with variously colored floral, paisley, and dot designs throughout. The armor dates to the very end of the 19th century or very beginning of the 20th century.
The largest breast plate: 13 x 9 1/2 in., (33 x 24 cm.)
Condition: Good with very minor signs of wear.
