AUCTION 45: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 196:
With a slightly curved blade of Damascus steel, the hilt is of silver alloy with engraved floral decoration. A Nagari inscription is engraved on the verso of the hilt. Chased and embossed silver scabbard mounts. The scabbard is covered with original faded red velvet.
Rajasthani, North India, 19th century.

Condition: Very good, the original scabbard velvet is worn.
