Lot 221:
The gently curved head of this axe is decorated with floral motifs in silver-inlay throughout its entirety, with most of the decoration still visible. The shaft is a cylindrical wooden rod capped with iron and wrapped with fabric. The fabric is mostly present but is dry from age and is peeling away from the shaft in various places.
L: 16.5 in. (41.91 cm.);
Condition: The silver inlay has faded but is still relatively well preserved.
