AUCTION 45: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 225:
With a wide single-edged blade decorated with etched Quranic verses on both sides, polished wood grip scales and a sheath with metal mounts.
Probably of the Middle-Eastern origin, ca. 1940.
L: 14 1/4 in., (36.2 cm.)
Condition: Fair condition with clean blade. Blade slightly loose in handle. Small chip from metal of scabbard. Wood panels may have shrunk slightly due to drying.
