AUCTION 45: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 255:
A finely decorated smoothbore Tunisian Moukahla of about .75 caliber, with silver mounting along the length of the stock and a fine silver band around the first quarter of the stock and barrel. The lock plate and mechanism are made of bronze and silver and are exquisitely chased. The end of the stock closest to the ramrod has a large chip taken out of it, but the ramrod itself is present and fully intact including its ornately decorated tip.
L: 74 in. (187.96 cm.); H: 10 in. (25.4 cm.); W: 4 in. (10.16 cm.)
Condition: Good condition overall except for a large chip taken out of the stock nearest to the muzzle, and the barrel band is loose.
