Description: Bearing Adolf Hitler’s ‘Ex Libris’ book plate on the inside of the first page. A ‘Jugendbuch’ (young person’s book) relating to the German and Austrian militaries in WW1. The dark blue cloth cover shows respectively the coat of arms of Imperial Germany and the coat of arms of Imperial Austria, with the Ottoman star and crescent beneath them, set under the stamped title in light blue lettering and set within stamped black swirling design with gilt portions appearing like stars. The spine is of a similar design but with the crossed flags of Germany, Austria, and Turkey, instead of the coats of arms. The inside covers show the German Imperial Arms set on an Iron Cross and surrounded by crowns, all within a yellow field patterned with Eagles. Many photo plates and illustrations within.

Condition: Good overall. Adolf Hitler’s Ex Libris bookplate in very good condition. Some warping to cover boards and minor fading to the cloth cover near edges. Pages in very good condition, with only minor yellowing due to age.
