The banner is of cloth with embroidered edges and a painted depiction of the Imperial Eagle of Napoleon Bonaparte surrounded by his coronation robe and scepters and is topped with an imperial crown. The piece is suspended from a wooden rod and is adorned with tassels.
60 x 20 in., (150 x 50 cm.)
Condition: Colors clear and vibrant. Minor paint loss. Some fading and minor loss to embroidery. Some creasing. Some staining throughout.
