AUCTION 45: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 91:
An Imperial Russian padlock of the 19th century complete with its original key. It bears multiple characters in relief. One on its front, and one on its back. Stamped into the metal near the top of the ring is a Russian word, possibly a maker’s mark, but it is partly obscured. The mechanism itself is still functional to this day and could be used if so desired.
L: 5 in., (12.7 cm.)
Condition: The lock is in good working condition. Small chip.
