Lot 107:
An early Popov porcelain dinner plate with a landscape. The center of the plate depicts an old castle or tower by a rock located on an island. The rim is decorated with gilded leaves. The verso is marked by the manufacturer with a blue underglaze ink mark "AP" (??).
First half of the 19th century.
D: 8 3/4 in., (22 cm.)
Condition: No cracks or chips. Several spots where paint is faded.
