FROM ANTIQUITY TO THE 20TH CENTURY
Lot 15:
This is a Roman blue glass oil bottle dating from approximately the 4th century AD. While the surface is largely obscured by sediment now, the brilliant blue glass peaks out in various places with astonishing color. The body is of an octagonal shape with a circular neck and mouth, and a base bearing an incised six-pointed star design.

Condition: Good overall with a nice solid construction. The surface is largely covered in sediment. Color is bright and vivid.
