Lot 202:
A chalkware bust depicting a youthful Napoleon wearing his Brigadier General’s uniform. The bust rests on a small platform base in a columnar shape connected via a single screw. On the bottom of the back of the bust is the faded Limoges mark with the letters ‘R’ and ‘L’ visible, with a crown on top.
France, 19th century.
H: 8 7/8 in., (22.5 cm)
Condition: Good overall. Light dirt on surface. Minor wear to gold trim on base.
