The banner is of cloth with embroidered edges and a painted depiction of the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Scotland. The arms are supported by two unicorns as well as two banners showing the Saltire of St Andrew and the red lion of the Royal Standard of Scotland. The piece is suspended from a wooden rod and is adorned with a tassel, though at least three tassels were originally on this piece.

Condition: Colors clear and vibrant. Minor paint loss. Some fading and minor loss to embroidery. Some creasing. Some staining throughout. Tassels at corners detached.
