Sayed Haider Raza, or S.H. Raza, (Indian, 1922 – 2016), acrylic on canvas painting depicting an abstract composition ‘Les Pierres, ‘ 1969. Signed by the artist and dated on the lower right. Additionally signed, titled, and dated on the backside.
Sayed Haider Raza was an Indian artist based in France, a member of the Bombay Progressive Artists Group. Raza’s abstractions were based on the concept of Bindu, a point or the source of energy, inspired by Indian culture and religions.
46 x 35 in., (117 x 89 cm.)
Condition: The painting is in very fine condition. There are no visible signs of restoration. The canvas appears to be in its original state and is strong.
