Lot 95:
A nicely painted teacup and matching saucer by Popov Manufacture, Russia 19th century. The cup and saucer are decorated with a floral motif on a light-green background with a gilded rim.
The manufacturer marks on the verso in blue ink underglaze: "??".
Saucer: D: 5 3/8 in., (13.5 cm.); Teacup: H: 2 in., (5 cm.)
Condition: No chips or cracks, no visible restoration, some gilding and paint has faded with time.
