An oil bottle of green glass hailing from 3rd or 4th century AD Egypt. The body is of a typical bottle-vase shape with a wide flared center, the base of the bottle having a concave depression, and the mouth being a funnel shape and having a round ear shaped handle connecting the mouth to the body.
Roman Egypt — ca 3rd-4th century AD
H: 6 1/8 in., (15.6 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with some minor chipping to the glass at the bottom of the bottle. Much of the surface is coated in sediment.
