A large porcelain charger by Maltsev with a superbly detailed gilt Imperial Eagle, showing even the individual barbs of each feather. The rim has been gilt with a similar level of mastery, with intricate, flourishing gilt filigree encompassing the entire rim, set within concentric circles of gilt trim.
