A small glass Unguentarium of possible Roman design, with a thin glass handle. Item dates CA 2nd or 3rd Century AD. The handle has a plant motif design where it is connected at the neck of the bottle and curves up to the lip. Unguentariums were typically used as containers for oils, but were also suited for use in dispensing liquids and powders. This item is dirty with signs of chipping from age.
Ancient Rome — CA. 2nd or 3rd Century AD

Condition: The item is in great condition with signs of age expressed by the dirt and wear on the glass.
