Two detailed fingers which were once part of a larger bronze statue from the Roman Empire. They are nicely patinated throughout and show lifelike details, especially at the edges of the fingernails and the creases of the knuckles.
Ancient Rome — CA. 1st or 2nd Century AD
L: 4 in., (10.2 cm.)
Condition: Surface nicely patinated with some loss to bronze in various places due to past corrosion. Base of fingers with jagged weathered edge where they were separated from the hand.
