FROM ANTIQUITY TO THE 20TH CENTURY
Лот 3:
A clay figurine of a stylized nude woman, attributed to the Indus Valley region during the late bronze age/early iron age. The figurine bears an elongated head with a pinched nose and hair made of small clay strands which have been incised prior to firing, all kept within what appears to be a head-dress. She wears jewelry at her neck, breasts, and ankles, and is in an unusual position, with all her limbs curled slightly.
Indus Valley — ca. 1000-800 BC
L: 6 1/4 in., (15.9 cm.)
Condition: Good overall with some general wear across surface due to age and some loss to the hair and left eye.
