Mstislav Dobuzhinsky (Russian, Lithuanian, 1875-1957), watercolor on paper painting "Roofs in Albany." Signed and dated ‘Albany 1936’ on the lower right. In December 1935-January 1936 Dobuzhinsky stayed in London. Mstislav Valerianovich Dobuzhinsky was a master of the urban landscape, illustrator, theater artist, member of the creative association "Mir Iskusstva" (World of Art), art critic, and memoirist.
14 1/2 x 10 7/8 in., (37 x 27.5 cm.)
Condition: Near perfect. Very slight tearing at the top right and bottom left corners. No visible signs of restoration or alteration.
