The lot is composed of the original sketch of a famous Soviet artist Georgy Eduardovich Satel (1917-2012). Includes two framed paintings “Old worker, ” and “Worker with mustaches.” Both paintings are signed with initials and dated ’55.

Note: Georgy Satel was a Soviet painter. Laureate of the Stalin Award. Studied at Moscow Architecture Institute 1935-37; in Art Studio VTsSPS, Moscow, 1937-38; at Moscow Art Institute until 1948. Active in Moscow. Began exhibiting 1947. Important shows include “All-Union Art Exhibition”, Moscow, 1949; “All-Union Art Exhibition”, Moscow, 1950.
