Zorikto Dorzhiev (b. 1976), a mixed media on canvas painting depicting a woman in traditional Buryat attire. Signed "Zorikto" lower right. Inscribed, titled "Monday" (Khan’s Concubines) and dated 2007 on the verso. Housed in a wooden frame.
Zorikto Dorzhiev is a Russian Buryat artist. He had solo exhibitions in The Russian Museum, St. Petersburg, Museum of Oriental Art, Moscow, Victoria & Albert Museum, London, and Tretyakov State National Gallery, Moscow. In 2019, he had personal exhibition “The New Steppe” as a part of parallel program of 58th Venice biennale.
