The Royal Tournament was one of London’s major annual events at the Earl’s Court in Olympia. Between 1923 and 1939 the Underground issued an annual panel poster to advertise the Tournament. This panel poster is one of 14 designed by Andre Edouard Marty (1882-1974) for the London Underground, each picturing what seems to be the same fashionable mother and daughter visiting attractions and events in and out of London.
