A beautiful marble bust depicting the visage of a Hindu goddess. This depiction shows the goddess with eyes closed, hair tied up, and a headband wrapped around the head with the image of the Buddha seated in the lotus position. Traces of red, gold, and black paint can be seen throughout the piece, remnants of the original appearance of the bust.
