Lot 45:
A Russian parcel-gilt steel and metal inlaid casket Tula, second half 19th century of rectangular form, on ball feet, the sides and hinged cover with iron handle applied with floral bouquets and swagged garlands, the front with lock aperture.
A similar Tula chest was presented at the Collections of Lily & Edmond J. Safra.
4 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 4 in., (11 x 9 x 10 cm.)
Condition: The chest appears to be in good condition overall. The key is missing.
