Lot 70:
A rare cup and saucer by the Imperial Glass Factory in shell-like shapes. The cup and saucer are both of glass, cut and checkered to form the aforementioned shell-like shape. The rims of both are of gilt-silver which has been finely and delicately engraved with geometric patterns. The handle of the cup is likewise of gilt-silver, with motifs of flowers, palmettes, a crown, and a feather. At the base if the feather section are the hallmarks and maker’s marks for the silver.
