Ancestors: Son of Robert Temple and Clarina B. (Hawkins) Temple. Husband of Catherine Margaret (James) Temple -married 12 Jun 1839 in First Presbyterian, Albany. Military History: Re-appointed in the US Army with the rank of Colonel 10th Infantry on April 9, 1847. Served in the War with Mexico 1846 48 on the Rio Grande Frontier

Disbanded Aug 26, 1848. Civil History: Commissioner to supply the city of Albany NY with fresh water 1851 54; Counselor at Law Albany NY 1853 54. Died July 20, 1854, at Albany NY Aged 45.
