Late 19th-century Russian silver cigarette case, of a rectangular form with slightly rounded corners, the lid is decorated with polychrome cloisonne enamel patterns in the Neo-Russian style, and the central frieze is covered with sky-blue enamel with repousse silver swallows. Gem-set push button. Bears an 84 Russian Imperial silver standard, 76, female head in a kokoshnik, Cyrillic maker’s mark ‘D.N.’ Weight: 7.2 oz., 202 g.
