Created for the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution, this order was awarded to individuals or groups for services furthering communism or the state or enhancing the defenses of the Soviet Union. Comprised of silver along with a gold hammer and sickle along the bottom. Further embellished with a red enameled five-pointed star and a rendering of a naval ship. Moscow Mint marked and numbered 620603 on the reverse.
