Footnote: Andrei Vladimirovich Balashov or Balashev (1899 – 1969) – hussar, emigrant, poet, monarchist, and author of several poetry collections. He graduated from the Moscow Imperial Lyceum. Cornet, who fought in the 11th Izyum Hussar Regiment, a free-lance soldier, lost his arm in one of the battles. Evacuated to Proti Island on the ship “Kizil Yermak”. On December 18, 1920, as part of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Gallipoli. Participated in the events in Gallipoli and the "Sarajevo sit-in". He emigrated to Serbia, and lived for some time in France, since the late 1920s moved to Belgium. Member of the Society of former pupils of the Imperial Lyceum in memory of Tsesarevich Nicholas. In 1952 editor of "Izyum Izbornik", and by 1967 a contributor to the magazine "Military Byl".
