Serene Prince Sergei Maximilianovich Romanovsky, Duke of Leuchtenberg, Prince of Eichstedt de Beauharnais (1849-1877) – a member of the Russian Imperial House (with the title "Imperial Highness"), from birth he was a member of the Life Guards Preobrazhensky Regiment, served in the Life Guards Cavalry Regiment. He was the first member of the Russian Imperial House to die in war while serving as an officer at the front. Shortly before his death, he was awarded the Golden Arms with the inscription "For Bravery".
