This is an early Herder SA dagger by Friedrich Herder Abr. Sohn with a double-edged pointy diamond-cut-shape blade, in its original scabbard. The dagger has a cast, nickel-silver plated pommel, tang nut, and crossguards. Its contoured wooden grip has inlaid to its obverse, the enameled "SA" signet near the pommel, and an eagle and swastika to its center. "Alles für Deutschland" (Everything for Germany) is acid etched, in Gothic script, to the front of the blade. On the blade’s reverse ricasso is the Herder manufacturer’s mark.

Condition: Blade is in very good condition. Hilt has no cracks or apparent damage. Grip shows very light scratches, as expected with use and age. Scabbard finish partially lost. All parts tight.
