#1 – A WWI-era Turkish sword bayonet, possibly for the M1893. The Ricasso bears the manufacturer’s mark in Osmanlica script (Made by Simpson & Co., Suhl), as well as the Islamic date 1312 (1894). There are various other markings throughout the item (spine, handle, hilt) including the star and crescent; and the serial number is also written in Osmanlica script. The scabbard

#2 – An M1918 Swiss Victorinox sword bayonet. This example is pre-1950, as the Ricasso marking only has "Elsener Schwyz"(Victorinox was added after 1950). The scabbard has the marking "P" identifying the maker as the firm Paillard AG of St. Croix. The hilt adorns the serial number and Swiss cross marking.

Condition: Very good overall. Signs of age and wear throughout the lot. Scratches on handles in places.
