Caucasus region, 19th century. Double-riveted horn hilt with nielloed silver washers. Double-edged blade (L: 41 cm.) with fuller and offset fullers. Wooden scabbard covered with rubbed brown velvet; with a silver chape and locket with floral niello decoration. With a matching suspension belt of florally decorated silver lame, cracked in one place.
Caucasus, 19th century.
L: 21 1/4 in., (54 cm.)
Condition: Very good overall with light signs of wear and use.
