Lot 240:
With a nicely engraved double-edged blade on both sides, brass fittings, and a pommel. The blade features an etched floral motif on both sides. The grip is made of carved staghorn decorated with three brass acorns. The scabbard is made of stitched (original) leather.
Germany, 19th Century.
L: 23 3/8 in., (59.4 cm.)
Condition: Good with the original gilding on the brass mounts almost entirely lost, the blade has dark spots but it is not pitted.
