With a curved double-edged wootz blade with a central ridge and two wide fullers on either side. The forte is decorated with gold inlay in the cartouches on both sides depicting a flower. The hilt is carved of rock crystal with palmettes and rosettes with a silver mount engraved with floral arabesques.
Provenance: Private collection, Germany.
India, 17th/18th century.
L: 17 in., (43.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good overall, the blade is in excellent condition, and the crystal hilt shows no damage.
