A WW2 Imperial Japanese police dagger with gilt brass fittings and a black leather handle wrapped wire. The dagger is held within a blackened steel scabbard from which it can be released by pressing a button on the side of the handle.

17 3/4 in., (45 cm.)
Condition: Blade is in perfect condition. Twisted wire slightly loose. Gilding to hilt is well preserved. Scabbard finish is partially lost. Hilt slightly loose.
