A German police (SS) officer’s degen dress sword. A straight, single-edged blade with the double oval Weyersberg manufacturer’s mark on the ricasso. The ebony grip is tightly wrapped with nickel wire. Inset into the grip’s obverse surface is an aluminum-style Police officer insignia depicting an open-winged eagle clutching a wreathed swastika resting over an oak leaf wreath. The hilt displays a "D" guard with a built-in upper ferrule, crossguard, and lower quillon with a teardrop. The lower ferrule is decorated with six upward-pointing oak leaves with acorns. The scabbard maintains its original black finish with nickel-plated mounts. The lower mount features standard line decoration and the upper mount displays the Wotan knot configuration.

Condition: Blade is in very good condition. Hilt with no visible signs of damage. The chrome finish is well preserved. Scabbard has no dents. Original paint is lightly scratched. All parts are tight.
