A heavy hand-and-a-half sword in 16th century style with an elaborately chased and decorated hilt with depictions of flowers, serpents, and shells, with a pommel in the shape of a heart. The blade is unsharpened and bears multiple stamped marks, ‘IL10:1251’, ‘K.2:5′, and ’48’. The accompanying black leather scabbard is affixed with molded brass mounts which have been stamped ‘IL10:1235’.
L: 42 1/4 in., (107 cm.)
Condition: The sword appears to be in good condition overall with some minor pitting in places.
