Lot 423:
A 19th-century Turkish single-shot flintlock pistol with silver inlay and brass mounted. The handle is slightly curved with a brass rounded pommel. The pommel displays a coiled floral motif and is held in place by a single nail. The brass plating near the breech depicts a scene possibly of hunting, given the representation of creatures and humanoid figures with weapons. The barrel, hammer, lock plate, and frizzen are all etched following the same leafy floral motif. The barrel is held to the stock with a wire threading and features a dummy ramrod.
