Lot 460:
A 19th-century officer’s percussion pistol by Baker of London with sighted 15cm octagonal barrel. Engraved on the barrel is "London", the city of manufacture, and engraved on the lockplate is "Baker", the manufacturer themselves. The hammer and tang and steel trigger guard are decoratively engraved. The pistol bears a captive ramrod which has been slightly damaged, held within a walnut stock with a checkered rounded butt.

Condition: Good overall, slight signs of age and wear. Some slight scratches in the wood and a little rusting on the metal.
