An early American powder horn has been carved with 13 stars, representing the original 13 colonies and depictions of birds, flowers, and vining plants throughout. The piece was likely created between 1776, the year of the Declaration of Independence, and 1791, when the 14th state was admitted to the union.
United States of America, ca. 1776-1791.

Condition: Very good overall with some minor signs of age and use throughout.
