Lot 81:
A nicely crafted bronze figure of Napoleon in uniform, set atop a black porphyry base. His left hand is held behind his back clutching his gloves, his right hand holds a spyglass. On his hip sits a sabre which swivels freely. The rear of the figure’s base is engraved ‘M.R.S./NAPOLEON’.
France – ca. 19th Century
Height without base: 8 in., (25 cm.)
Condition: Figure is in very good condition with a nice bronze patina throughout.
