Double-bladed steel blade with one deep fuller on each side. The handle is made of two bone plates of characteristic form. The sheath is made of wood, and covered with velvet. The tip of the sheath is made of turned bone.

Daggers of such length were widespread during the Caucasian War at the end of the 19th century in the Eastern and Southern Caucasus, where, considering the terrain, they often replaced shashka swords. The Russian sources of the first half of the 19th century refer to this type of long daggers (kindjals) as "Lezgin daggers."
