A 19th-century Caucasian kindjal dagger. The blade is inlaid with gold on both sides near the hilt. One side has a single fuller near the hilt that breaks into two as it moves toward the blade’s tip. The reverse has only one fuller. The hilt is constructed of horn with golden decorative features. The scabbard has the same golden decoration following a floral and geometrical motif.

Caucasia, 19th Century.

L: 22 3/4 in., (57.5 cm.)

Condition: Very good. The leather on the verso is slightly worn.
